Goals: In exploring the complex topic of the separation of groups and the artistic representations throughout history of this constant struggle between “us” and “them,” The Face of the Other Group hopes to discuss and portray personal revelations that can help all to better understand the elusive face of the Other.
Topic: The cultural exchange between America and Japan through history and how each country’s view of the Other has become part of their identity, yet still separate the two cultures.
