Blurb 3- Chocolate

Last week I met up with a few of my friends in Max Brenner to catch up on stories and a whole lotta chocolate. As we were waiting on line, it was fun checking out all the stuff behind the candy counters. Once we got seated, we had to pour over the menu and contemplate on what to get. As most of us are chocolate monsters, it was daunting to figure out what to get as everything in the menu sounded so good.

After a long deliberation we decided to skip dinner and go straight to dessert! We decided on getting the Chocolate Fondue with bananas, strawberries, marshmallows and banana bread with white chocolate, milk chocolate and caramel as dips. I also ordered a hot chocolate, which was very thick, rich and delicious! The little mug it’s served in is called a Hug Mug because you place your hands around each side and well, hug it. It’s a great warm feeling.

The restaurant itself was definitely very cozy. I loved the decoration, with the dark brown furniture and the natural colors. It made the place very warm and inviting. the atmosphere is just wonderful and the candle-lit setting is great for groups and cheerful chatter

The over all experience was delightful. I couldn’t get over how smooth and warm and heavenly the chocolate was. Every taste was just pure love. I was very sorry when we finished it all. The chocolate menu is so difficult to choose from but the variety of choice is what grabs people. Even though the prices were a bit high, the experience makes up for it a lot. If your anything like me, chocolate crazy, this restaurant is a dangerous yet tempting place to go.

Being the epicure I am, I loved Max Brenners! The first time I went, I had the chocolate fondue with the choice of 3 chocolate sauces also! Being so interested in this restaurant, I bought a whole gift set which comes with two of the cute fondues along with marshmallows, chocolate dip and skewers…I too make chocolate fondue at home! Also, I LOVE the hug mugs so much…I have four, enough for my family. =) Perhaps you can try Serendipity3 next time!

My mouth has never watered so much in my life….this is awsome! I never went to Max Brenners before but I’ve heard so much about it and was contemplating going inside today as I passed by it. I decided to save myself the calories, but after watching this, it looks like its worth it! I’ll definetely check it out soon.

I really liked the music you used for your background. It made me want to go to store right now :). The chocolate also looks so good. I agree with everyone that I have to go one day! Max Brenners is so lucky because it’s getting free advertisement from your lovely podcast! It’s making everyone want to go :).

I agree. Class trip here would be terrific. Max Brenner sounds like it offers so much insight into New York’s culture and…. well I just really want to get some chocolate!
