Blurb 3- IJC Fashion Show

[display_podcast]

On Saturday night, NYU’s Iranian Jewish Club held its second annual benefit fashion show in the Kimmel Center. The main goal of the event was not only to showcase the brilliant talent of several students who were transformed into models for the evening, but also to raise $10,000 for Save a Child’s Heart. This organization aims to improve pediatric care globally. Ultimately, the club hopes to provide at least one child with life-saving cardiac surgery with the proceeds from the event. The models showed off clothing by various well-known designers such as Janique By Koroush, Morrell Maxie, Gorgeous Luv, Lia Kes, Faviana, Suzi Chin Maggy London, and Romeo and Juliet. The night was filled with excitement and elegance, and truly felt like a high-fashion runway show. The combination of chic fashion and electrifying music created an amazing ambiance throughout the entire evening. Ranging from casual wear to formal wear, each model was unique and rocked their outfits with charm and edge. The garments were definitely impressive, but the most remarkable part of the event was the charisma of the students. Their fierce model poses belonged on the runways of Milan, and their hilarious intermittent skits were reminiscent of old-school professionals. Overall, it was an incredible event to attend, as well as an extraordinary philanthropic effort.

I have been always into fashion and this sounds like something that I definitely would like to go in the future. Thanks for telling me about it and the background music is great. It ties in with the whole run-way mood.

I have never heard of this fashion show, but think it is amazing what this club is doing. I really think Baruch should get in on the action. Anyone up for putting together a fashion show for a great cause? =]

I always knew that if there was a good fashion show around that you would be one of the first to know about it. Masha I actually model and yes I am willing to show off my swagger in a fashion show for a good cause!
