Blurb 2: Skillet Concert

On Friday, October 2nd, I attended my first rock concert. An event that I was originally frightened and intimidated by turned out to be an amazing experience. While many believe that rock concerts have no artistic value, I found the contrary to be true. The rock band, Skillet acted as virtuosos on stage, putting their hearts and souls into every lyric sung and every chord strung. In addition to the artist’s vivid dedication, the concert possessed astonishing visual effects, which made my newfound experience astounding. These wild pyrotechnics included breathtaking fireworks, impressive lighting, and a mechanically alternating stage. To top off this experience, two thousand avid fans surrounding me and screaming the lyrics at the top of their lungs, filled me overcome with joy. From now on, Skillet, the American rock bank from Memphis, Tennessee has my seal of approval.
