Correlation Between Air Quality and COVID in New York City

Unfortunately, COVID-19 has cast us away into our homes for good, but the environment seems to favor our new lifestyles.

Although the implementation of lockdowns halted businesses and people, it has also stopped the burning of fossil fuels and other chemical reactions that are released into the air for electricity, transportation, and businesses. Two prevalent pollutants in New York City that we can investigate are PM2.5 and NO2. By observing changes between these two pollutants across separate months and years, we can observe any differences and potentials causes for these changes.
