We combined the best elements of our mini magazine projects that reflected our journey throughout Seminar 1 into a collective poster exploring our cultural spaces of affinity, the Uptown Triennial, and key places of artistic fervor.
Our exhibit walks you through each stage a couple experiences during a relationship. In the end, you are able to decide what happens in the relationship!
After extensive research on the cultural art styles we decided to combine Vytynanky and the Dombra by creating an event where people would indulge in making a papercut design to apply on to the Dombra. The event will finish off with everyone playing beginner songs with the Dombras they designed with Vytynanky.

Our mission is to explore the rich tapestry of flavors and give recommendations to some of our favorite spots.
With an unlikely and odd pairing of Raga music and an ordinary Colombian peanut, we created a unique event that combines the serenity of Raga and the delicious peanut snack.
Calypso music and Nakshi kantha meet to create this brand-new art form! Calypso’s upbeat melodies and deep, impressionistic lyrics weave Caribbean rhythm into this traditional, multipurpose style of weaving.
Our project features a poster that advertises a hypothetical event that we came up with. The event is a mashup of two cultures, Jamaica and Uzbekistan.
