This website is an interactive immigration website. It shows a virtual tour or ellis island and also has an option where you have an oral history scrapbook and people can publish any memories.

About This Site

This site was created by students in the Macaulay Honors College at Queens College, as part of a collaborative effort across the CUNY campuses. The students of this Seminar 2 section – The Peopling of New York – visited East Harlem and used their experiences as well as knowledge gained through research to construct this website about the history and current status of East Harlem.
