Although you, either individually or as a group, are expected to make multiple trips to conduct your research on the Lower East Side, the walking tour is vital in getting off to a flying start collecting material.
Try to have the cell number of someone you are not accompanying to the LES. This way, if you are late, we can let you know where we are. And, obviously, be prepared for the weather.
