The Computer can do all that a camera can do and more, the phone can do all that the camera can do, as well as some aspects of the computer, we are yet to refer to Phone Art. We tend to confuse a technology with a science, we refer to a technology or a technic as an art form. Why? When does a technic become an art? This week at the MoMa we have discovered the power of (the technology of) photography:
(1)The ability to remove or insert a detail or an object (2) The ability to either document or invent a historical event or an art work. (3)The ability to capture the past, or devise an artistic comment on society (4) Freezing or Creating movement.
