I believe that art is anything that is the product of human creativity. Although there are many different definitions when it comes down to it anyone can create ‘art’ because everyone has the potential to be creative. That said, not all art is of the same value or quality.
My favorite form of art would definitely have to be music. Listening to music is more than just simple enjoyment to me. It evokes a stronger response in me than any other form of art that I have experienced. I also find that although there are limited styles of painting, sculpture and photography that I enjoy there are many different types of music that I love and appreciate.
My favorite historical period is definitely the United States Reconstruction Period, which occurred right after the civil war. It was an incredible time of growth for America but also lay the foundations for the racial problems that emerged after the civil war and continue even today.
I used to be a great math student but I slowly lost interest in it as math became more centered on trigonometry. Seeing the words sin, cos and tan drove me crazy. I enjoy English class as well, not because I like writing but because I really enjoy reading. Outside of school I love to play sports. My favorite sport is definitely volleyball and I’ve been playing since I was in 8th grade.
I definitely feel comfortable with new technologies even though it takes me awhile to get used to them and once I find something that I really like I tend to stick with it even if there are newer versions available.
I would say that I have very decent writing skills. They obviously vary on how much thought I put into my writing and how much time I spend on editing my work.
