Leon Landau emigrated at the age of fifteen from his hometown in the Carpathian Mountains, which are on the border of Ukraine and Russia. He emigrated through Italy, and finally took home in Boro Park, Brooklyn. He went to high school at the Yeshiva Torah Vodaath in Boro Park for two years before going on to Brooklyn College. He went to Brooklyn College for four years, majoring in computer science. He graduated from BC in 1984. He is now a Senior Vice President at Fidelity Investments.
