Pavel Shlpenyev immigrated to America from Uzbekistan in 2002. Now he is a Macaulay Honors student and a Physics/Engineering major at Brooklyn College, Class of 2015.

Virigilia Hess is a 3rd year student at Brooklyn College, majoring in Broadcast Journalism. She emigrated from her home in Paris, France directly to Brooklyn, NY in the fall of 2008.
