Tang

I would like to present my one and only home in Flushing, New York. My parents traveled place to place prior to my birth, bringing along my older sister for parts of the journey. But my family wanted to settle someplace nice, especially for the sake of the kids, so they decided to move to this location. Compared to their previous households, this place was a godsend. Transportation was convenient, primary education was great, and most importantly, they loved their neighbors. Today, my parents still consider them some of their closest friends. They have instilled the same values as I grew up here. Most of my favorite memories are tied to the memories I have in this house, from learning to bike, to getting beat for breaking the glass that layers our coffee table, to sharing midnight snacks with my sister. I suppose my favorite part of my house was the basement, where my family would spend most nights watching movies or playing video games when we were younger. Although the house has gone through tremendous renovations, it is the same place I know and love.
