As per our discussion today, I found this image on Google that traces human civilizations against human evolution, and–believe it or not–climate change (it’s not rising sea levels, but relatively apt nonetheless).

Thanks for finding and posting this handy little graphic. So, it looks like our branch of the evolutionary tree has been growing through two complete glacial-interglacial cycles. But modern civilization as we know it has been associated with the current interglacial period with a relatively stable climate and sea level. That certainly has made it easy on us for the past 10,000 years.
