Welcome to the Common Archive! This website is a cross-campus repository of the ePortfolio projects constructed by students in SPACE, the Common Event for the Macaulay Honors College’s Seminar Two: The People of New York.
At SPACE, students develop their social science research skills — making observations, conducting interviews, and building maps — and then build their technological prowess by using eportfolios to showcase their findings. Students’ posts made during SPACE can be found here.
Later in the semester, these skills are put to further use when students build their public-facing projects at the culmination of The People of New York. Those projects are archived on the Seminar 2 Encyclopedia.
