I chose these pieces to represent my quote simply because they were both just words on a wall. Usually, when we see words on a wall they’re street signs pointing you in the right direction, or signs telling you a shop is open. These words are almost never seen as beautiful or picture worthy, they’re just signs we pass throughout the day. But when someone sees something no one else does, they make a plain sign a work of art and they make it beautiful, allowing everyone to interpret passing text into something meaningful.
