It is no question that race plays a huge role in society today whether we choose to believe it or not. After listening to the CI to Eye podcast I was made aware of an interesting point which is that in a lot of productions, certain characters are certain race because that is the way that the character has be portrayed for a long period of time. I have seen that productions have tried to make diverse casts in an attempt to rectify this issue such as in the production of Hamilton. Some may say that the casting of Hamilton was revolutionary. Would you say that trying to apply this principle in the workplace is revolutionary or simply inevitable?
