My name is Ishraq Khan and I was born in Manhattan. My parents immigrated to the United States from Bangladesh. I attended Stuyvesant High School when I was younger, so I have been able to come to the city almost every single day for four years. I really look forward to learning more about NYC’s culture through this class as well!
Andrew Betz
I am Andrew Betz. I was born in Raleigh, North Carolina and lived there until the age of 5. I was the only one in my family not born in New York City. After becoming a member of the voluptuous Staten Island community, I have always been ostracized and denied my rightful place as a genuine, day in day out, New Yorker. Here at City College I hope to prove all the dissenting voices wrong.

My name is Michael J Miranda. I was born in New Rochelle, NY and moved to Mamaroneck, NY around the end of middle school. I graduated from Rye Neck High School and am currently majoring in Electrical Engineering at CCNY. I enjoy sports, mainly Track & Field and Cross Country as well as video games. To be short, there aren’t many things I dislike besides country music; and even then it’s only the non-blues kind.
