What is the role and place of artists in our society? What do artists offer us and what are our expectations, if any, regarding their work? What is your understanding of the arts and of individuals who devote a large part of their lives to making art? In this seminar, through our readings and class discussions, and our ventures into the city, we aim to help you find answers to these questions.
