Barber shops, hair salons, delis, pharmacies, restaurants and indistinct faces- anyone who walks along Broadway would pass by these sights. For the average person, it would be just another barber shop, another hair salon and another deli. However, the students of Peopling of New York took the initiative to stop and spend time appreciating the stories of Broadway.
From 133rd to 179th Street, the various businesses of Broadway became something special as students sought to answer who owns these businesses, why they are here, and why they are unique to Broadway.
