I was born in Kharkov, Ukraine in 1992. I came to the U.S. with my mother during the summer of 1996 and up until now I have lived in Jackson Heights, Queens. My family greatly supported each other during the early years. These years saw my mother attain a degree in nursing; my grandparents and uncles helped in rearing me and constantly encouraged my mother to continue to persevere. When I was 9 years old, I began to attend Park East Day School, a private conservative Jewish school that Bono visited located one block away from Hunter College. My schooling in Park East played a fundamental role in fostering my awareness of my heritage as well developing my work ethic. During eighth grade, I was admitted to the Bronx High School of Science. Although my high school years were quite tumultuous, I developed a lot of important relationships and of course studied a great deal. I live with my parents and my sisters, Tali and Sarah. My main hobby is soccer although I do follow Basketball and enjoy reading historical fiction (especially written by Bernard Cornwell). Soccer is my chief obsession and those who know me can attest that it occupies a great deal of my life. I follow it as much as I can, and I cannot even begin to describe the thrill and passion that I have for the beautiful game. Soccer itself has instilled in me my persevering attitude and it taught me how to respect and NEVER underestimate my opponents. I played on varsity inhigh school and if things were work out I am greatly considering the prospect of playing soccer at the college level.
I have a sense of humor and my friends will clarify that I am very talkative. They may note however that I am stubborn at times. And of course I am impeccably handsome.
Thats about it …
