"I really like this picture because it depicts a typical day in NYC and supports the fact that NYC is the "city that never sleeps." This photograph also exemplifies the fact that this city is a melting pot. I immediately notice that there is a Chinese restaurant and a Korean restaurant a few feet away from each other and people of different ethnicities walking down the same street."

"I enjoy this picture mainly because of the buildings. The parallelism and light reflecting off the buildings make the photograph seem surreal. The photographer in the foreground seems insignificant compared to the buildings because they are so big and I this picture even implies that we're all insignificant because NYC is large and filled with so much life."
