I’ve updated the “Recommended” page as well as the “What’s coming up?” page. For the “Recommended” page, I’ve added a section to include video games. For the “What’s coming up?” page, I have added many events as well as links as sources.
I hope you like everything that’s going on and sorry for making you guys wait for these changes! I hope things will be finished and settle down in a month when finals are over, haha.

So it looks like the forum for this site has been dry… it’s ok. As a result, what I’ve done was open a forum section (the general discussion one) to the public, so anyone can write what they feel. Of course, one must follow the rules here.

Today is Pepero Day, a day to celebrate young love, much like Valentine’s Day. Pepero is a delicious cookie stick wrapped in chocolate. If you have heard of Pocky, this is basically the same, except the South Korean style. One basically gives a package of Pepero (as well as other romantic gifts) to someone he/she likes. Interesting how this holiday wasn’t even official, according to the company who created it. It was only due to a spike in the sales that made it “official”. I want one…
On a side note, happy 11/11/11 and Veteran’s Day!

I would like to take this opportunity to make sure you guys make the best out of this site while you are here. There’s a lot to talk about and a lot to update, so bear with me.
Recommended: Simple. What do I recommend to you, the audience? Of course there’s going to be bias, but as time goes on, there will be more people running this site, and there will be more variety, so stay tuned.
Asian Acronyms: phrases that stand for something. Ok, that was a terrible way of explaining things. Let me give you an example. CD = compact disc. FAQ = frequently asked questions. Etc. Only with Asian references (though some could be for various ethnicities as well).
What’s Coming Up?: self-explanatory. What events are coming up game-wise, music-wise, YouTube-wise, internationally, nationally, etc.?
Holidays! I admit, this is one of my lesser pages. It’s really sad. I cannot think straight it seems. That aside, it (will) list(s) various holidays celebrated in many Asian countries.
Forum: Discuss your opinions on various posts or just various things that are going on in general. Don’t forget to be polite and offer constructive criticism!!
Browser Issues: This is those who are unable to read any Asian languages on their computer. To better enjoy the experience of this site, there will be some Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc. here and there.
What is this? I don’t need to go over that. FAQ basically. And if you don’t know what FAQ is, I just explained it before. ^^

This actually occurred a few days ago. A girl was hit by two truck, and about 20 passerbys just walked by and ignored her. Only a janitor woman came up to help her out. I am honestly reminded of the parable of the Good Samaritan (cf. Luke 10:25-37), in which the best people just ignore those that are hurt, and it’s the most humble people that help out.
