To those who have been looking through my site even now, props to you! Thank you for all the support! I will be updating this site a bit more to make up for it! ASN clothing has re-opened the market for purchase: there are three shirts this time. There is the bubble tea t-shirt (no Chinese this time…), halloween t-shirt, and ASN monk (crewneck or hoodie). The first two shirts are $20, while the crewneck/hoodie is $25. For more info, click here.
Asian holidays are here! There is the Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋節) as well as the Chuseok (추석). Both holidays are very special; the first one allows for eating mooncakes. Chuseok is when people visit their ancestral homes and eat traditional Korean food. Of course, both celebrate the harvest that was common back then.

On another note, sorry about the lack of (late) posts as news has been coming by pretty slow lately. I will try to post up stuff a bit earlier.
First off, this link leads to the response from Invisible Children regarding many of the issues brought up.

Next, I was able to find a video made by Wong Fu Productions back in 2005. The music video is pretty interesting, and it’s amazing how they tried to raise awareness of this issue in Uganda even back then. Look where they are now!

Ok, nothing Asian this time around, but, this is a really cool link I found. This link is amazing because just by simply clicking “insta-tree,” another tree is planted! Although only up to a maximum of 1,000,000 may be planted, it’s still something. The beauty is that you can click it as many times as you want! You’ve been warned though, it is a bit laggy if you press it 20 times in a row or more… hehe…
