As a writing sample, I am sharing the introduction section of my dissertation War Baby: Race, Nation, and Cultural Conceptions of Lesbian Motherhood.  My dissertation was completed at the CUNY Graduate Center in 2012 under the advisement of Dr Jane Marcus.  Other committee members included Robert Reid-Pharr, Michele Wallace, and Jessie Daniels.
