The Crown of Queens
The Italian immigrants referred to their new neighborhood by the Italian and Spanish word for “crown,” which is “corona.” In the last half of the twentieth century, Corona saw immigrants coming from the Dominican Republic and Latin America. This cuisine reflects the many tastes and flavors of Corona’s diverse ethnic history!
