Albert Tong is a freshman at Brooklyn College and is planning on majoring in chemistry and political science, but is currently on the pre-med track. Besides being a member of the Macaulay Scholar’s Council, he is also a member of Brooklyn College’s Global Medical Brigade. He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY, but lived in three other states before that. He has various hobbies that he enjoys on his free time: writing rap verses, collecting crystals, meditating, cooking awesome food, enjoying nature, and trying new things. Amy GvW (as she is usually called) is a sophomore at Brooklyn College and serving her second term on MSC. She is studying an interdisciplinary major called “Theatrical Authorship Studies,” as a part of the CUNY Baccalaureate for Unique and Interdisciplinary program. She is secretary for BC’s Undergraduate Theatre Organization, a co-leader of Macaulay’s Theatre Group with Jenna Jankowski and Michael Squitieri, and co-wrote the book and lyrics “Error 404!” of BC’s SING! 2011. Zachary Hayworth is a Saint Louis native who moved to New York City to attend Macaulay Honor College. In high school he was president of the Gay Straight Alliance, chairman of the National Honors Society, and was involved in extensive community service. In addition to representing the Macaulay class of 2015 at CCNY, Zack is treasurer of CCNY’s Straight and Gay Alliance and a volunteer leader at the Go Project NYC, where he tutors underprivileged elementary school students. He is an Economics and Philosophy double major.

Liz is in her third year at Macaulay and has served continuously on the Scholars Council since her freshman year. She is premed and majoring in Global Health through the CUNY BA for Unique and Interdisciplinary Studies, with a minor in Spanish. Liz is passionate about food justice, particularly as it relates to health and environmental issues, and is a main organizer for CUNY FoodFEST. On campus, she is President of the City Agriculture Network (through which she runs a community garden on 141st Street) and Co-coordinator of the CCNY Honors peer mentoring program. Liz is the representative of the Class of 2013 on the Macaulay College Council.

My name is Lawrence Kulishevsky and I am a freshman at the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter. I am representing the Class of 2015. My prospective majors of interest are Actuarial Science, Finance, and Psychology. I am a member of the Macaulay Business Club and the Macaulay Hunter Blog. Outside of school I take an interest in martial arts and sports. This is my first year serving on the Scholars Council and I have thoroughly enjoyed getting involved.

Anthony Ventimiglia is a sophomore at the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter. A biology major on the pre-med track, Anthony is President of the Macaulay Honors Pre-Health Club and represents his class on the Macaulay Scholars Council. He is also planning a Macaulay-wide Service Abroad Opportunity through the Global Brigades Organization. As a freshman on the Scholars Council, Anthony played an integral part in the planning of Macaulay’s First Annual Olympics and Spring Picnic. When he is not engaged in his studies or student government work, he can be found hanging out with friends, playing sports, or at a Yankee game.

Kaitlyn O’Hagan is studying History and Public Policy at Hunter. She is also a member of the Thomas Hunter Honors Program, and her THH concentration is English.
