You may remember the above quote from the video about screenwriter Dustin Lance Black’s storyboarding process was viewed in class today. Storyboarding is a great way to envision the final project and figure out the time and resources that you’ll need to finish it. You may find that you need a little figuring out the steps in between envisioning your video and actually turning it in – and if that’s the case, here are some great resources:
- Harvard Business Review: A Tool to Help You Reach Your Goals in 4 Steps
- Lifehacker: How can I turn vague goals into actionable to-dos?
You guys rocked the workshop today, and hopefully you learned some practical tips and some inspiration about telling your story. I was really impressed with people’s creativity and willingness to share with the class, two great qualities to cultivate as you make your videos!
