This picture was taken during my visit to the New York Public Library. While it’s not a walking distance from Baruch College, this Library is aesthetically pleasing and has variety of study places. I was glad to visit the place because it made me think of all the free resources New York City offers us that we tend to take for granted or not utilize them at all.

That ceiling is indeed gorgeous. A large variety of such public places is one of the reasons people are attracted to New York City so much. New Yorkers are often ignorant of their surroundings. People looking up are usually tourists. We should really appreciate such free resources and take advantage of them more often.
The NYPL library is worth the visit, particularly the third floor reading room. Thanks for photo.
Olha’s comment is spot on.
