Shortest Autobiography About Myself

Hello, my name is Mitasha Palha and I went to high school at The Brooklyn Latin School, where I took a two-year Visual Arts course. Within that course, I learned to develop my own artistic theme and style in art. When I do create artwork, whether it be a painting on canvas or a drawing using graphite pencils, I always extend a personal connection to the meaning behind my works of art. My greatest influence and inspiration in art derives from Leonardo da Vinci who always seems to have an underlying and enigmatic meaning to his art. In addition to art, I also used to play baseball when I was younger and I plan to hopefully join the Lehman Softball team this year. In terms of leisure time activities, I am a huge fan of the TV show, The Walking Dead, and I enjoy going to McCarren Park with my friends to play badminton. I also love to cook and try out new recipes which explains my passion for food.

When I read the syllabus, I was excited about the variety of events we will be attending as a class because I feel as though sometimes stepping out of a classroom setting may help one grasp such a crucial concept such as climate change. An area that intrigues me for the group presentations is the Hansel and Gretel Opera.
