Who is Violetta?

Hi Everyone!!,

My name is Violetta Saldanha and I graduated from The Mary Louis Academy, a Catholic, all-girls school in Queens. I know when most of you see that I went to a Catholic, all- girls school, you are probably thinking that I am a prim, proper, preppy person (wow, that is a lot of p’s), but that is not the case. I am pretty crazy when you get to know me, I think of myself as funny, and I love meeting new people. I have two older sisters who are in their 30’s (yea, I know old). They are both married so I have two older brothers as well and a two-year old niece whom I adore. Both of my parents are Indian so I am as well, though I was born in New York City on February 22, 1997 (yes, I am a year younger than all of you; I went to school a year earlier).

I am so excited about this course because I don’t know much about art, but I’m ready to learn. I love music like most of you I’m sure. My favorite artists range from Beyonce to Rihanna to Drake to Eminem to One Direction and even Justin Bieber (yes, I am a Belieber, don’t judge me) and many more. My major is undecided as I have no idea what makes me happy/what I want to do for the rest of my life. Hopefully, I figure all of this out quickly as my family has been seriously bugging me about it. I can’t wait to explore New York and go to all the amazing events that have been planned for us, especially the Tea Ceremony. I feel like I’m talking too much so I will stop typing now, but I cannot wait to get to know all of you throughout the next four years.
