We are living in Reality, and let’s keep it that way!
The image above from “One Planet, One Choice” depicts a family, or what seems to be a group of people sitting at what seems to be a beach at first glance. However, this image really spoke to me because when you take the time to look at it, you realize there is no beach, just and artificial scene of one. I chose this photograph because it made me realize how if nothing is done about the prevention of climate change, our world will lose its beauty. If we do not do anything about our world today, the future generations will not be able to experience our planet as we did. They would not be able to go to the beach on a hot summer day and build sand castles or smile as the cold waves tickle their toes as they stand by the shore. I could just imagine the word “beach” having a whole different connotation as the years will go on. It will be known as a place where people dump their garbage or do not even want to go near due to its horrid smell. And why? Because tidal waves rose too high and we clearly did not do anything about it.
So if anyone wants to spend the time with their loved ones on a hot summer day chilling in the sands of Coney Island, whether it be with their kids, grand kids, nephews, or nieces, I suggest we come to reality and prevent artificiality. Prevent climate change so we can live in a REAL environment!
