“A Call to Arms” – C.Ng

I think this march is one of the first events I’ve seen that has promoted climate change with this caliber.  Most times in climate change activism, there isn’t this much action taken, just words of acknowledgment.  I think this is a step in the right direction.  It shows how people are starting to really notice its presence and the aggression its taking the world by and its severity.  I think it makes a good point when it says that we have to be loud and aggressive when fighting for this because it doesn’t get the attention it truly deserves and it doesn’t get the publicity that it requires for some serious change.

It speaks to how humanity works.  We will all live different and separate lives but when faced against a common threat, we will unite as human beings.  What’s sad is that with a cause like climate change, people won’t see it asa threat until it gets catastrophic and severe.  By then, it may be too late.
