No Jobs on a Dead Planet

There are “no jobs on a dead planet”. Since there are no jobs on a dead planet, we need to start moving to keep it alive. McKibben’s dire call for people to join the march is painful to read because I can understand the emergency behind the call. Before the planet is destroyed, we need to start taking action. The first being to participate in the march in New York. I am proud to be participating in this march because it can help bring attention to others about climate change.

Whether my participation in the march will help bring major changes into the world, I do not know. However, I hope for the leaders to listen to the proof the scientists are pointing out. I hope people believe it is not pseudo-science but actual knowledge backed up by hundreds of facts. I hope we can start as a state to become more environment friendly, using solar panels and reducing our CO2 emissions. If we all start state by state, then we cal slowly change as a country and then the world, it will take us no time to go back to the correct numbers needed to keep the Earth healthy. I am looking at the positive side of the situation because this march can draw positive attention to the problem of climate change in the world.
