An era is ending

Imagine walking out of your house and the first thing you see is the deterioration of everything around you. There would be no birds chirping, because they would no longer exist. The flowers and vegetation would be browning and shriveling under the relentless rays of sun. You can no longer take a walk in the park without wearing a protective suit with a complementary oxygen mask.

Get the picture?

Obviously, the description is a bit exaggerated, but the big question is, has climate change already started?

I’ll be honest with ya, I tuned out during the political part of this section. I don’t really care about politics because it’s all talk. Politicians don’t ever actually get anything done. So I have no love for politics. But then Squarzoni started to talk about the heat wave in 2003, and we first read about that in “What the World needs now is Art, Sweet Art” by Bill Mckibben. The visual, I think, added so much more to the information. I didn’t really know about the heat wave in Europe in 2003, I was too young to actually care about it…But the fact that the topic keeps coming up is significant.
