HEY HEY HO HO FOSSIL FUELS HAVE GOT TO GO!!!

 

I cannot believe how much fun I had at the climate march today! I was pretty tired this morning, so I honestly didn’t want to get up early on a Sunday to go walking all day with a bunch of people. When I went on the subway, I saw a whole bunch of kids from some school. They were so excited because they too were going to the march. I was falling asleep on the train ride and when I finally got to the Macaulay building, I was getting a little pumped since everyone was so lively. When we actually went to the march and saw all the other people there I was getting even more energetic. There was music and people were chanting; my favorite chant was clearly “Hey hey ho ho, fossils fuels have got to go.” Seeing all the other people with their posters made me realize how important climate change is to a lot of individuals. I was amazed at how many little kids I saw and how excited they were to be a part of the Climate March. Overall, I really enjoyed this experience. I felt the spirit of everyone at the march and I fed off of their energy and had an amazing time. I will never forget being apart of something so important.
