Climate Change or Nah!!!

I absolutely loved the march! There were: grand posters of polar bears and sparkly fishes; fun chants such as “Keep the oil in the soil;”and especially my buddies from Macaulay Honors college around to support each other. So many people came from around the globe to make a statement for the government. I saw so much diversity and creativity among the marchers. Some were socialists condemning capitalism while others dressed like gladiators who used lettuce as armor.
But eventually the excitement died down; I was hungry and my feet were tired. And it didn’t help that McDonalds was tempting me at every corner (there’s so many in NYC!). This elderly woman described the march in a way that refused me to quit. She noticed that the pace was very slow and we had to stop frequently. The solution to climate change was no different; it would take a long time and would be very tedious. After this, I had to make it to the end and it was so worth it. I went home after eating at Five Guys feeling very proud.Climate March
