Art is Man-made, Art is Natural

Art is man-made. 

The architecture and overall design of the buildings really grabbed my attention. The curves and lines that make up the building on the left side create a sense of motion. Straight rigid lines create a simple yet interesting pattern on the exterior of the buildings in the center and on the right. While these buildings may not have been created to be works of art, they do contain elements that make them art.

Art is natural.

As I was walking along the Highline, I noticed many of the train tracks were almost completely covered by plant life. With so much greenery around I could hardly believe that there was ever a train track there. While the plant-life is not extravagant, it creates a serene and aesthetically pleasing environment.
