The Allure and Repulsion of Art

Art is alluring as shown by the photo of attractive plants with light and dark green-colored leaves. The heart-shaped, sea green colored leaves have dark green color veins and are nicely puckered. The contrast of color in these leaves make them a unique form of art and aesthetically pleasing.

On the other hand, I find this weird looking sculpture repulsive and out of place. I found this sculpture without any description among the plants on the side while walking the high line and I could not figure out what this sculpture is about. It looked like a creepy alien wrapped with orange colored robe to me. I do not see the purpose of placing this sculpture among the beautiful plants and the more I looked at it, the more I hated it. This is a form of art but to me, it is repulsive and pointless. If anyone of you knows about this sculpture, please let me know!
