The Beauty of Breathing

This is the formula for cellular respiration. This is what cells do to break up sugars into a form that the cell can use as energy. This happens in all forms of life.  As the walkway traced the evolution of man’s thought and art, this equation stayed the same. It served as a link between these seemingly different worlds – the griots and the Enlightenment, cave paintings and Stravinsky. This was the connection between everyone represented on the walkway. I found this incredibly beautiful.
