I definitely fell for Dance

Wow, leaving that performance made we want to dance, not on the streets of NYC though….

I loved seeing Sébastien Ramirez and Honji Wang (AP15) perform an electrifying performance. Even though we had seen a video of them in class, I felt like watching them live was really captivating. Every movement they had contributed and mimicked the sound of the music they were dancing to. I especially want to note the beginning of the performance when Honji Wang was sitting in a meditation-like yoga pose. When she starting moving to the music, it kind of reminded me of the Memory of Water and I felt like she was trying to physically depict the flow of water through the shifts of her body. Sébastian Ramirez, who I thought looked like Adam Levine, looked as if he was trying to copy Wang at first, but then attempting to grasp her under his control. I thought the dance was a mix between a power struggle to an intimate relationship shared by two partners that trying to express their emotions of love, jealousy, and content to each other.
