We are pouring hot water on our planet.

On page 251, people are staring at the pictures that show many disasters occurring all around the world. And we do not notice a thing. Yes, we do not know why media and health writers recommend people to not eat meat, milk, and raw fish because they have unhealthy substances in it. Cows and chicken do not nurture in natural environment anymore unlike they did in the past time. Yes, we also do not know why we have so many unknown new diseases every year. Patients are dying under so many unhealed viruses. All over the world are frightened with diseases. Yes, we do not know that we are pouring hot water on our planet.

As I read this part of Climate Changed, it reminded me of the tv show that I watched in last summer vacation in Korea. 6 comedians were grouped into three and they carried same amount of ice for each group and they measured their own ice again at the end in another place. One group put their ice in ice bag that they borrowed from a kind woman, one group carried in just bag and scattered salt on the ice because they thought salt would help ice for not being melted (totally wrong! Salt actually melts ice more quickly), and the last group bought ice creams around the ice. When they got their destination, they had quiz and if they got wrong, someone poured hot water on their ice. At the end of the game, each group measured their ice again and a group which has the most ice won the game. Aren’t we are doing as they do? One group did not know the salt does not help keeping ice but shattered as they believed in and someone poured hot water on the ice. We are actually pouring hot water on our planet which causes a lot of disasters in the world.
