jazz experience

I did not listen jazz or classical music a lot; it was my first time to go to a jazz concert. Honestly, I had my anatomy& physiology exam in the morning on that day so I was so tired. And even it took more than one hour to go to place. Unfortunately, I dozed off during the first time of the performance because of my tiredness and the smoothness of music.

After we had a break, I could focus on music; actually I was mesmerized by the jazz music. It was actually smooth and multiple melodies and rhythms. Although I do not play any instrument, I could really enjoy the music. I was sitting next to Jacky and I saw her really enjoyed the performance. She especially sat up while a base performer played because she might play a cello and they look similar (?). I used to play a flute but I do not do anymore. While I saw Jacky really enjoyed the music, I really wanted to practice and play any instrument again and want to really have a interest in music.
