Squarzoni’s Details are Amazing

The images in this section are actually very captivating to me. I love the image of the woman on pg.396 who screaming. In this one picture Squarzoni captures the horrors of Hurricane Katrina. This woman stands out and she looks as though she is in so much pain, and she is crying out for help. I can’t help but sympathize with her. You can see the distress in her face, from the lines in her forehead, to those around her mouth. She is in a crouch with her hands opened out as if she is crying and begging for help. This single image really stood out to me, making me feel the suffering, and the woman’s deprivation.

Squarzoni juxtaposes the suffering woman with Condoleezza Rice on the side. It is just depressing to see how one side is struggling, while another is prospering and doing nothing to help the other side. Squarzoni depicts Condoleezza Rice as evil. Her face looks very evil, and she looks greedy. This picture is actually very creepy and the comparison is very real.
