One Mistake
All it takes is one mistake, one slip up and a scientist’s credibility is lost forever. Isn’t that ridiculous? The only reason why the non-believers had such a field day during “Climategate” was because the writer for an article in New Scientist wrote 2035, instead of 2350. A typo. They switched around two numbers. TWO NUMBERS!! And the belief people held in Climate Change diminished. It’s all extremely political.
I thought Squarzoni’s choice of images was really interesting in this section. He repeated an image of a dung beetle and a doctor smoking Camel cigarettes. At first, I thought it was just to show how disgusting the disregard of the planet is, but now I’m not so sure.
