Not Exactly Sweet Art… More Like Different

Usually when I write these posts, I try to come up with something witty or sophisticated to say. But I guess this time I don’t really feel like it or maybe I can’t even attempt to try. The whole experience of this show was different, literally the perfect adjective. There were topless ladies in a black panty yelling and screaming in a language that I’m not familiar with- I am thinking that it might be Samoan- and groups of men moving their feet so quickly resembling insects’ flight.
I really could go on about this eccentric art form for decades, but I don’t wish to bore you or perhaps confuse you. I’ll just give you my favorite moment where everything clicked. A screen showed a bird trying to escape the polluted waters leaving its wings all disheveled and filled with threads of muck. The men acted as flies, the topless woman in the beginning portraying the death of humanity as she slowly reaches the floor. The ending included white powder all over the floor that looked like “heat” and we would be slowly burning to death with only the bugs left to thrive on our remains. This is about climate change, isnt it?
