Climate Changed Forever
While there are many civil rights movements and social conflicts today, we should not have to face a climate-induced apocalypse. This book informed the reader extremely well about climate change, and explains that there are steps to help lessen the damage. The interesting part was the last few pages about the Woody Allen quote. Squarzoni did leave us with a negative point. What was the second point? Was it positive or negative one? I think it was positive because he talked about how cold it was outside. He drew pictures of beautiful snowy mountains, leaving us with a vision of what blessings we could possibly lose. He left us with a mix of hope and despair, just like in the Memory of Water. We are unsure of the ending.
The main thing is that we need to work together, understand each other, and communicate properly. I think that would solve a lot of today’s problems. Reading this book opened my eyes to the problems we face and answered the questions I’ve always wondered about. Squarzoni tells it like it is. It’s up to us to do something about it and tell other people. We face bigger waves, and if we hold hands we can overcome them.
