hmmmmm…?

Honestly, I did not know what the performance has meaning. I guess the performance has deep meaning in it but it was too complex for me to understand. I was late for the performance and when I entered, the naked lady came out.. and I was like….WHAT? The dancers described birds and the naked woman was dying maybe she ate something (like garbage?),and then she died screaming. The background music was for me creepy. I was frightened when the male dancers slapped themselves because the sound of slapping was really loud. At the end, the dancers poured white powder on the floor and I guess it represented an image of bird. ( I am not sure though).

On the way back to dorm, I read the article about Birds with Skymirrors that I got from BAM. Connected with Elisha and Christy’s presentation, I could know it was definitely describing about climate and nature. For me, this performance was the harder and more complicated to be understood than any other experiences in seminar 1 class. I hope I could fully understand the performance.
