Botanical Gardens

Me, Lisa, and Hye Jin decided to go to the Botanical Gardens on the perfect day!! HAHA not really.. It was pouring rain and we didn’t really see any pretty flowers like we expected to. While we were walking we did see the Christmas trees that were put up. They were gorgeous and they smelled really good too!

On our walk we saw poems written by Billy Collins. We were so excited when we saw them because as we all know in English Class we read poems by him. At every poem we saw, we stopped and read them aloud and tried to find the meaning behind each one.

We walked and walked in the rain and then finally we did see some flowers (orchids to be exact) that were stunning.

After a while I started to enjoy the rain, but Lisa and Hye Jin hated it!! We said that we would come back in the spring when the weather is better, but either way I had a great time!!
