I think this class was very interesting.  I thought we’d be looking more at actual art throughout the course.  Truthfully, I’m kind of disappointed that we didn’t get to create more works of art during the semester.  I think it would’ve been nice to create more hands-on projects about climate change rather than reading about it.  I don’t know; reading about just wasn’t as exciting.  But I guess, I learned a lot about climate change and its true significance to the world. I also enjoyed the few shows I did get to attend throughout the course.  I really enjoyed seeing Alvin Ailey Dance Company and all the amazing duets.  Dancing for 4 years really gave me a love and appreciation for dance.  Although I didn’t get to attend most of the trips, I don’t feel like I missed out on much.  A take away from this class would definitely be to get my butt off the couch and go out and do something about the environment.  Something as simple as planting a tree can make all the difference.
